GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) -- One area book store is getting creative for Valentine's Day.
Lion's Mouth Bookstore in downtown Green Bay is setting up folks on a 'Blind Date with a Book.'
Some people long for a night of fine dining and dancing.
Others want to curl up with a warm blanket and a book.
Lion's Mouth Bookstore has your next match-made in heaven.
'Blind Date with a Book' was created so anyone and everyone can enjoy Valentine's Day.
"They don't know what the book is but it should hopefully be something fun and something they'll like," said Cassandra Bertolini, the manager and bookseller at Lion's Mouth Bookstore.
In a cozy front corner of the book store, you'll find a display of books all wrapped up and ready to give to your sweetie.
It could also be something you buy as a gift for yourself.
"For a book lover, you spend a lot of time with that book," said Bertolini. "For someone to think of you and give you a book they think you might like, it would be a nice way to spend Valentine's Day."
Each book has a quote or teaser written on the front to give you a clue as to what it could be about.
For ten dollars you've just created a blind date with a book that could end up being your next favorite.
"Something that they can branch out into a new genre," said Bertolini. "Something that they wouldn't have otherwise tried if it hadn't been a surprise."
There are options for kids and young adults. There are a variety of genres including psychological thrillers, mystery or a fan front-runner this time of year, romance.
Lion's Mouth Bookstore is running their 'Blind Date with a Book' deal through the month of February.
