Kwik Trip stores discontinue self-serve food

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – All Kwik Trip/Kwik Star locations are making temporary adjustments due to the novel coronavirus.

The stores are discontinuing their self-serve food offering until further notice. The areas under suspension include:

  • Self-serve coffee and cappuccino bar
  • Self-serve fountain sodas
  • Roller Grills (pre-packaged items will be available in Hot Spot)
  • Bakery case (pre-packaged will be available)
  • Condiment bar
  • Nacho/chili cheese machine
  • Soup bar

Kwik Trip will be waiving all EatStreet delivery fees for customers through the end of April.

According to a post made by the company on Facebook, they are also discontinuing food sampling and reallocating labor hours towards cleaning and sanitation efforts.

Kwik Trip/Kwik Star locations offer hand sanitizer at their gas pumps and in-store available for customers and are continuously monitoring its bathrooms and will wipe down all commonly contacted surfaces at least every 60 minutes to ensure continued cleanliness.
