Kimberly and Little Chute ban electronic vaping for those under 18

The Villages of Kimberly and Little Chute have adopted a new vaping ordinance.

Officially beginning at the start of 2019, both villages made made amendments to the existing tobacco ordinance, making it illegal for persons under the age of 18 to possess electronic vaping devices, including those which do not contain nicotine.

A news release from the Fox Valley Metro Police cites a recent advisory warning from the US Surgeon General regarding the dangers of children vaping and nicotine addiction. The warning includes guidelines for communities to restrict youth access to e-cigarettes.
