KEWAUNEE COUNTY (NBC 26) — Kewaunee County opened three of its four sections of snowmobile trails Wednesday.
The Red River, Algoma and Kewaunee area trails were opened up this morning. The Luxemburg area trail remains closed.
"Glad to have the trails open. Hopefully we can have them open longer than you know a few days here. Hopefully we get a little more snow, but I haven't seen much for snow in the forecast coming up so and warmer temperatures are not going to help," Dave Myers, Kewaunee County Promotion and Recreation Director.
To use the trails, snowmobilers are required to buy an annual Wisconsin snowmobile trail pass through the DNR.
