Police: Inmate escaped from Winnebago Correctional Center back in custody

OSHKOSH (NBC 26) — UPDATE: Police said Michael Blake was located in Waushara County around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday and was taken into custody.

UPDATE: Jamie Jo Misevicz, a woman authorities believed was traveling with an escaped inmate, Michael Blake, was located in Waushara County. Blake's whereabouts are still unknown.

An inmate at the Winnebago Correctional Center (WCC) has escaped from custody. The Oshkosh Police Department is currently investigating.

Michael P. Blake walked away from the WCC sometime between 12:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.

According to the Oshkosh Police Department, at approximately 2:52 p.m. the department was informed that an inmate walked away from the facility.

Blake is described as a white male, 5'7", 170 pounds, bald with hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing green pants and a beige t-shirt.

The Oshkosh Police Department is working with the WCC to locate Blake.
