GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC26) -- Thousands of hunters will travel out to the woods this weekend for the opening day of the gun-deer hunting season.
Hundreds of people get their Friday started by getting out early to grab last minute hunting necessities. Fleet Farm has coined the term "Orange Friday" as the day before the hunt.
Many hunters we spoke with say it's a tradition they love to continue and share with family. The gun-deer season goes from November 23rd to December 1st.
