GREEN BAY (WGBA) -- Packers fans are known are some of the most die hard football fans in the nation. Many travel to games across the league to watch the Green and Gold play. With the NFC Championship game set, how much will it cost to see two historic franchises play each other.
"It is an expensive endeavor," said Rose Grey with Fox World Travel. "Cheap tickets are going fast."
Across most ticket buying websites, game tickets are going for at least $300 each. Flights out of Green Bay and Milwaukee are close to $700. Hotels are a similar price.
The trip will likely cost someone well over $1000.
Another thing to mention, the City of San Francisco is far away from Levis Stadium. It is about a 45 minute drive. Anyone planning on staying in San Francisco has to factor in transportation which could also be expensive.
"It is a matter of what type of experience someone wants to have," Grey said. "Do they want to just got to the game do they want to go to the game while also taking in the sights of San Francisco."
The cheaper route is to fly in to San Jose airport and stay close to the stadium. However, the cost of hotels, flights and game tickets are still high.
