APPLETON (NBC 26) -- Efforts are underway to mobilize the youth vote.
Elaina Anderson and Grace DeMetrician are a pair of seniors at Appleton North High School who founded the campaign, "Voice Your Vote" in September, in an effort to help educate their peers on the importance of voting.
"We have been doing a lot of educational information outreach on our social media for absentee, but right now we're focusing mainly on just how to be safe when you're heading to the polls because knowing this election the turnout is going to be crazy, it's going to be unlike anything we've already seen and already have been with early voting,” said Elaina Anderson
Voice Your Vote is non-partisan, because Elaina and Grace are on opposite sides of the political spectrum.
