Green Bay Metro transit staff spent nearly five hours assisting on Saturday night. They transported approximately 250 people, including those in wheelchairs.
"Challenging evening and I'm just glad that we were able to assist them and hopefully you know it was a tough situation, but we were glad that we could help them in doing what they needed to do,” said Patty Kiewiz, Green Bay Metro Transit Director.
It's not unusual for emergency services to reach out to metro transit, whether it's for members of the public or for emergency personnel themselves.
