NORTHEAST WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region has announced state highway maintenance work in Northeast Wisconsin.
Maintenance operations are typically preformed in spot locations in the project limits. Traffic impacts do not typically affect the entire highway limits of the maintenance project, or throughout the project’s entire duration. All maintenance operations are weather dependent. Work is listed by county.
Brown County
- Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on the southbound I-43 off-ramp to WIS 96 on Wednesday, June 30 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. The ramp will be CLOSED during repairs.
- Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on southbound WIS 57 at WIS 54 beginning at 6 a.m., Monday, June 28 through noon, Friday, July 2. The right lane will be continuously closed during repairs.
- Maintenance crews will be repairing beamguard on eastbound WIS 29 between County Y and WIS 32 on Monday, June 28 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The left lane will be closed during repairs.
- Maintenance crews will be repairing crack sealing on southbound WIS 57 between Quincy Street and Randall Avenue on Tuesday, June 29 and Wednesday June 30 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Various lanes will be closed during repairs.
- Maintenance crews will be repairing beamguard on eastbound WIS 172 at Libal Street on, Thursday, July 1 from 12 a.m. to 5 a.m. The left lane will be closed during repairs.
- Maintenance crews will be repairing bridge approaches at the following locations:
- Monday, June 28 - Full closure of southbound County FF over WIS 29 starting at 8 a.m. Traffic wishing to access eastbound WIS 29 from southbound County FF will use westbound WIS 29 to the County VV J-Turns and return onto eastbound WIS 29 for alternate route.
- Tuesday June 29: Full closure of northbound County FF over WIS 29 starting at 8 a.m. Traffic wishing to access westbound WIS 29 from northbound County FF will use eastbound WIS 29 to Packerland Drive and return back onto westbound WIS 29 for alternate route.
- Wednesday June 30: Right Lane closures of eastbound WIS 29 over Duck Creek and full closure of off-ramp to Packerland Drive starting at 9 a.m. Traffic wishing to access Packerland Drive will take southbound I-41 to Mason St to Packerland.
Calumet County
- Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on eastbound and westbound WIS 114 between Melissa Street and Oak Park Drive on Wednesday, June 30 from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. A flagging operation will take place during repairs.
Door County
- Maintenance crews will be repairing pavement on southbound WIS 42 between Y-inn Road and WIS 57 on Monday, June 28 and Tuesday, June 29 from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Various lanes will be closed during repairs.
Winnebago County
- Maintenance crews will be repairing concrete on southbound US 45 at between Skeleton Bridge Road and County Y from Monday, June 28 to Friday, July 2. The right lane will be closed during repairs.
