GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Green Bay Police are investigating a case in which a hawk was injured by an arrow.
Tuesday morning, police said officers responded to a call of an injured red-tailed hawk discovered at a residence in the 1700 block of Wedgewood Drive on Green Bay's west side.
Police said the bird had an arrow through its wing, resulting in the wing being broken. Animal Protection rescued the hawk and took it to the wildlife sanctuary for evaluation and treatment. The hawk is expected to survive.
