APPLETON (NBC 26) -- October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
In Appleton, Harbor House is hosting the 3rd Annual Purple Porch Project to support survivors and raise awareness by encouraging homeowners and businesses to change their porch or outdoor lights to purple.
Harbor House has been helping victims of domestic violence in the Fox Valley since 1984.
