GREEN BAY, Wis. — In case your summer calendar isn’t full already the city of Green Bay has a few dozen events to add to the list.
From festivals to fireworks this summer is packed with events to enjoy the summer months. The City of Green Bay released their Summer in the City events guide. It’s a calendar of events that highlights dozens of great events happening downtown all summer long.
Green Bay Mayor, Eric Genrich says summer events are a great way to showcase what Green Bay has to offer.
“We want to attract people from all across the community. This is an amenity that needs to extend beyond the county beyond the state,” says Mayor Genrich.
“We are on the map internationally with the Green Bay Packers and we need to take advantage of that and (sic) when folks are here to see The Packers that they feel as though there's a lot else to do. Based on what we've seen today there's no shortage of opportunities to get active in this community,” Genrich adds.
