Green Bay Police searching for suspect after attempted break-in

GREEN BAY, Wis. (NBC 26) - Green Bay Police are still searching for a suspect after a stabbing in the 1300 block of Smith Street.

Police responded around 10 p.m. Thursday night, to reports of people attempting to break into a home. A resident of that home was cut on the hand with a knife. He was treated at a hospital and released.

Police found the vehicle involved in the incident at a Shell Station on Velp Street. Three people were taken into custody, and a fourth person fled.

Police say this was a targeted attack and the public is not in danger.

Police are still searching for the suspect who fled. They ask anyone with information to contact them.
