Green Bay Police searching for homicide suspects

Green Bay Police are searching for two people suspected in a homicide that happened in April.

According to Green Bay Police, officers responded at 5:04 a.m. April 30 to the intersection of Western and Perkins avenues for a report of gun shots along with a person laying in the road.

Police found a 34-year-old Hobart resident when they arrived at the scene. Police said officers and paramedics tried to save the victim's life but the victim was pronounced deceased a short time later. Witnesses reported that multiple people fled the scene immediately after the gunshots were heard, according to police. Police identified the victim as Randall Denny.

Following an investigation, police now say officers are searching for Alejandro and Gustavo Cantu. Police said charges have been filed on both for first degree intentional homicide and use of a dangerous weapon in Brown County Circuit Court. Jacob Ventura is in custody and is also being charged in this case, with the same charges. Ventura also has charges stemming from this investigation in Shawano County for felon in possession of a firearm. Police said all three have Green Bay addresses.

Green Bay Police said Alejandro and Gustavo Cantu are aware police are searching for them. Detectives will be investigating information on anyone aiding and abetting their attempts to avoid apprehension.
