GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Green Bay Police say one person was hospitalized in a shooting Saturday evening.
It happened on the 1400 block of Smith Street shortly before 5 p.m. Officers say the person who was shot then went to a nearby Family Dollar where workers called police.
The victim went to the hospital with a gunshot wound in the chest. The injury was described as non-life-threatening. Police said 5 to 6 shots were fired.
Officers believe the victim and suspect knew each other and that this wasn’t random. That suspect has not yet been found.
