Green Bay Police investigate shooting; vehicle hit, no one reported injured

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Green Bay Police officers are investigating a shooting that happened early Sunday morning.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots in the vicinity of the 1600 block of East Mason Street at around 3 a.m. When officers arrived, they didn't find anyone injured or in need of medical attention.

According to police, officers found numerous shell casings and one vehicle had been struck by bullets. Officers collected evidence and interviewed witnesses.

Investigators believe this to be an isolated incident, and there is no danger to the general public. Police continue to investigate.
