Green Bay Police investigate armed carjacking

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Police are investigating an armed carjacking.

Green Bay Police said just before noon Saturday, officers responded to the 900 block of Main Street. Officers spoke with two victims who said they were approached by a man they knew.

According to police, the suspect brandished a handgun and demanded the victims turn over the vehicle to him, which they did. The suspect then drove off and left the victims behind. Police said no shots were fired and no one was hurt.

Police have sent out information concerning the suspect and the vehicle to other law enforcement agencies across the state. No other information about the suspect or the vehicle was released as of late Saturday afternoon.
