GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — UPDATE: The situation at Emilie and Clay streets has been resolved and the streets have been opened back up. Anyone that was sheltering in place can now resume normal activities.

PREVIOUS: Green Bay Police are asking the public to avoid the area of Emilie St. and S. Clay St. Police say officers are dealing with an armed subject inside a house in that area.
The situation is contained within the house, however, there is a heavy police presence in the area, including the Green Bay SWAT team. Residents within a 1 block radius of this intersection are being asked to shelter in place in their basement or interior area of their home until the situation is resolved.
Police ask the public to please avoid the area and respect the barricades in the area as they are blocking streets for public safety.
