Green Bay Police cancel search in kidnapping case: Children found safe

GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — UPDATE: According to Green Bay Police, the children have been found safe and will soon be reunited with their mother.

The suspect is in custody. Police responded to an anonymous tip indicating that the suspect and vehicle were at a park in DePere.

Police were able to locate the suspect and take him into custody at the park. The children were still with the suspect.

PREVIOUS: Green Bay Police are asking the public's help in locating a vehicle connected to a reported kidnapping.

Police are looking for a red 2016 Ford Focus 4-drive, with Louisiana license plate 902-ELK. Police said a garbage bag is covering the rear window. The suspect is Tyrone L. Dubose, a 29-year-old Black man who is 5'7" tall and weighs 155 lbs.

The three kidnapped children have been identified as 1-year-old Sebastian Davis, 3-year-old Starzera Dubose, and 5-year-old Zion Dubose. All three of the children are described as Black.

On Wednesday morning, just before 7 a.m., Green Bay Police said a "domestic disturbance" happened in the 2200 block of Manitowoc Road. Police said a woman was inside a car with her three children when the father of two of the children was involved in a "domestic disturbance" with the woman. The suspect fled in the victim's vehicle with the three children still inside. The victim is being treated at an area hospital for injuries related to the incident.

The suspect is still at large and the children are believed to be in danger at this time. This is a domestic incident with the suspect and victim knowing each other and the general public is not believed to be in danger.

Anybody with information on the whereabouts of the suspect, children, or the vehicle are encouraged to call 911. The public is asked to NOT approach the vehicle or the suspect, but to keep a safe distance and call police immediately.
