GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich announced plans for a city-wide face covering requirement Monday morning.
The proposed requirement will still need to be passed by a majority at the city council.
The requirement is intended for wearing face coverings indoors.
The mayor said he expects most people in the city to abide by the face covering rule. According to the mayor, enforcement of the requirement will be treated similarly to enforcing trespassing rules.
The requirement will have exemptions for people with medical conditions.
