GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — JJ Cafe & Grill is hosting a Pay It Forward Thanksgiving event for people who need a meal or are alone for the holiday.
The diner posted that it is not open for regular service Thanksgiving day as the Pay It Forward event will happen from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. or while supplies last.
"Every Thanksgiving many go without, this year has been especially trying on many," wrote JJ Cafe & Grill. The diner said it was able to provide others with a Thanksgiving meal thanks to the tremendous support of the community.
Due to COVID-19, staff are asking everyone to remain in their vehicle and they will come out to you. They will provide one plate per person, but not everyone requested for needs to be present.
