GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- 40 nonprofits are expected to benefit from the Give BIG Green Bay event scheduled for February 18 and 19.
Give BIG Green Bay is a partnership between the Green Bay Packers Foundation and the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. The event helped give more than $1.3 million to area nonprofits last year.
Give BIG Green Bay 2020 is offering $362,500 in matching funds and incentives, an increase of $50,000 from last year. The Greater Green Bay Community Foundation is underwriting all program expenses as well to allow the full $250,000 Green Bay Packers Foundation commitment to be allocated as matching funds and encourage community members to give BIG.
