APPLETON (NBC 26) — A free vaccination clinic will be held Thursday evening at Appleton North High School.
The Appleton Area School District said a student group has been assisting in organizing pop-up school-based vaccine clinics. The second round of the clinics will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Thursday, February 17 in the LMC of North High School, 5000 North Ballard Road.
The school district said the Pfizer vaccine will be available for anyone ages five and older; those under 18-years-old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. First, second, and/or booster shots will be provided. ID and health insurance are not required.
The clinic features interpreters for those who speak Hmong or Spanish, snacks, free books for children, on-site education as well as diapers and personal hygiene products for those who need them.
There is no need to pre-register. Walk-ins are welcome. When you arrive at the school, you are asked to enter door 58 near the library entrance.
