GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Health officials in Brown County are offering free drive-thru clinics for the flu shot during the next two upcoming Saturdays.
Brown County Public Health announced Thursday it will offer drive-thru clinics from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 16 and Saturday, October 23 at Green Bay West High School.
BCPH said vaccinations will be offered free of charge to community members age six months through 18 years of age and will be dependent on vaccine availability.
"Brown County Public Health is encouraging everyone who lives and works in Brown County to get their flu vaccine this fall. It is the single best way to protect yourself, your family, and your community against the flu virus," BCPH said in a news release.
According to BCPH, people can now get the flu vaccine at the same time as other vaccines, including the COVID-19 vaccine whether it’s their first or second dose, or a booster.
