NORTHEAST WISCONSIN (NBC 26) — There are a few places this year offering a free meal during Thanksgiving for those in need in parts of Northeast Wisconsin.
Transformation House is once again hosting a free Thanksgiving Dinner. It will be held Nov. 24 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at 610 S. Broadway Street in Green Bay.
Father Carr's Place 2B will again host a drive-thru style Thanksgiving Meal on Thanksgiving Day in Oshkosh. The 2021 Father Carr's Place 2B Thanksgiving Day Drive-thru will take place on Thursday, November 25, from 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. on the Father Carr's campus located at 1062 N Koeller St, Oshkosh. Advance reservations are required and must be made by Monday, November 22.
Individuals can also request multiple meals for those in their household and/or for fellow neighbors in need when making a required reservation. To make a reservation call 920.231.2378. Christ The Rock is also hosting a free community Thanksgiving Meal. The organization is excited to return to offering an in-person meal at The Grand Meridian. In-person dining will be offered from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at The Grand Meridian, 2621 North Oneida Street, Appleton. Learn more at www.christtherock.org/thanksgiving.
Northwood’s Apostolic Church will host their 6th Annual Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crivitz Village Hall, 800 Henriette Avenue in Crivitz. RSVPs not needed but appreciated at (715) 938-4934.
Hillside Assembly of God will have a dinner on Thanksgiving Eve on Wednesday, Nov. 24. at 5890 State Highway 22 in Gillett and at 2023 County Rd Q in Pound. For pick-up or meal delivery, please call the church at (920) 855-2962. Click here to learn more.
New Community Shelter will host meals on Thanksgiving Day. Lunch will be from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and supper from 5 to 6 p.m. They offer both dine-in and door-side pickup and are located at 301 Mather Street in Green Bay.
