MENOMINEE INDIAN RESERVATION (NBC 26) — Four people are facing charges related to a case of human remains found in a burned vehicle last year on the Menominee Indian Reservation.
Menominee Tribal Police Department said Timothy M. Snider Jr., Emerson K. Reed aka "Kelo", Keith D. Wilber Jr., and Kayla M. Childs have been federally charged regarding their alleged involvement with this case.
The case began last year in August when a body was found in a burned vehicle on the reservation. Authorities later identified the body as 24-year-old Stephanie Greenspon of Green Bay.
Police now say Snider has been charged with distribution of a controlled substance, use of a communication facility in the furtherance of a narcotics offense, and obstruction of justice conspiracy.
Reed has been charged with misprision of a felony and arson in connection with a federal felony. Wilber has been charged with misprision of a felony and arson in connection with a federal felony. Childs has been charged with misprision of a felony.
Police said all four people were taken into custody.
