GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The Green Bay Police and Fire Commission have named four finalists for the position of Chief of the Green Bay Police Department.
The announcement comes nearly two months since former Chief Andrew Smith retired.
Those finalists include:
Benjamin Allen, 20 year veteran of the Green Bay Police Department, currently serving as Captain of the Investigations Division.
Christopher Davis, 22 year veteran of the Portland Police Department, currently serving as Deputy Chief.
David Salazar, 25 year veteran of the Milwaukee Police Department, currently serving as Captain/Commander of District 2 Patrol Bureau.
Kevin Warych, 20 year veteran of the Green Bay Police Department, currently serving as Commander of Operations.
The city of Green Bay says the department is currently being led by interim Chief James Runge.

A final decision on the next chief will be made after in-person interviews scheduled in late July, the city says in a statement.
