FOND DU LAC (NBC 26) — Fond du Lac Police said officers are investigating an overnight shooting in the city. Police reported property damage, but no one was reported hurt.
Officers responded around 1:25 a.m. Thursday to the area of the 200 Block of 6th Street for multiple reports of possible gunshots coming from the area.
Officers searched the area and spoke with several people that heard the shots.
Police said officers found several handgun casings on 6th Street east of S. Park Avenue. There was property damage to two residences due to the gunshots. There were no reported injuries.
This incident remains under investigation by the City of Fond du Lac Police Department. No further details or information are being released at this time.
