FOND DU LAC, Wis. — The Fond du Lac County Health Department is the latest local department to emphasize the importance of wearing a mask when in public during the pandemic.
“It’s important that we don’t let our guards down yet. We are moving in the right direction, however, we are not at that point where we can lighten up on the strategies that we know work to reduce the spread of this virus,” said Kim Mueller, Fond du Lac County Health Officer.
The Department recommends people continue to wear a mask, practice physical distancing, wash hands often with soap and water, avoid crowds, and get vaccinated as soon as possible.
Masks are currently required in Fond du Lac County government buildings.
