GREEN BAY (NBC 26) -- When Governor Tony Evers declared a 'Safer at Home' order in late March that extends until April 24th that meant only essential businesses could be open.

NBC 26 spoke with two local florists who said they reached out numerous times to the state to ask for clarification to be able to still operate. While waiting and going back and forth between the state, both florists, Buds 'n Bloom and Enchanted Florist, closed to be in accordance with the order. Then thankfully an update to the order included contact-free home deliveries.

Buds n' Bloom and Enchanted Florist are doing local free home delivery. They're teams are wearing gloves and continuing to work with a small crew so to continue social distancing as well.

Bebe Kay with Enchanted Florist says this was a game changer for them.
"Being able to be open and even just offer deliveries was huge after being closed for about a week."

Both florists say they're doing their very best to adapt and hope everyone is doing their part as well during this time.
