GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — The first 500 guests through the NEW Zoo doors will receive free admission to the Zoo on Saturday, August 20, courtesy of Piggly Wiggly.
According to Carmen Murach, Interim Zoo Director, “Piggly Wiggly is generously paying the entrance fee for the first 500 guests to visit the Zoo on Saturday. We’re grateful to them for providing this opportunity for people who may not otherwise have been able to visit without such a sponsorship. We appreciate the support of Piggly Wiggly and we’re happy to pass their generosity on to our guests.”
The 501st guest will receive a gift basket valued at $150 sponsored by the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park.
Piggly Wiggly will also be giving away a pink 2022 Jeep Wrangler to celebrate the relaunch of their loyalty program. The Jeep will be on-site for guests to view and register to win.
Sunday, August 21 will be senior citizen day at the Zoo where free admission will be offered all day to those aged 62 years and older. Free admission for senior citizen day can only be claimed upon arrival at the Zoo and not through advance online purchases.
The NEW Zoo is currently open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
