HORTONVILLE, Wis. (NBC 26) - The Outagamie County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a fire on WI-15 around 2 a.m. Monday morning. On the scene, they found a 80x100 steel heavy equipment structure fully engulfed.
Firefighters had difficulty controlling the flames due to the cold weather conditions, and flammable equipment inside the building. Several vehicles were also inside the building, and the roof had also caved in so it was hard to get water where it was needed.
Drivers were asked to avoid STH 15 westbound from Greendale, and eastbound from CTY TK JJ. The highway has now reopened and the fire has been knocked down.
The building is considered a total loss. No one was hurt.
The fire is still under investigation.
