TWO RIVERS (NBC 26) -- Fiber Farm Frolic Weekend kicked off Friday at the London Dairy Alpaca Ranch in Two Rivers.
The event celebrates the many uses of alpaca fleece including soft sweaters and warm mittens; cozy blankets and luxurious scarves. To ensure social distancing, call ahead for a tour…but the clock is ticking.
"We know winter is coming, things are going to get lousy, so you can come out here and enjoy the sunshine, the great weather and interact with the alpacas,” said Laura Prellwitz, the Public Relations Director for London Dairy Alpacas. “Nobody is ever sad or crabby when you're around alpacas, it's almost impossible to do, there's just something about them that will put a smile on your face.”
Fiber Farm Frolic weekend runs through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
