GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — Ahead of Sunday’s Packer game, Lambeau Field is shining much brighter.
The Festival of Lights returned on Saturday for its 15th year.
NBC 26’s Chief Meteorologist Cameron Moreland emceed the tree lighting outside the stadium on the Harlan Plaza.
Packers President and CEO Mark Murphy was also there along with the family who donated the tree.
This year the tree was donated by Wayne Berkovitz of the Green Bay area.
There are about 10,000 lights on the tree.
The family that donated the tree believes the 50 foot tree is at least 30 years old.
The event which attracted many also had carolers singing some holiday tunes.
