GREEN BAY (NBC 26) — A Green Bay nonprofit is tackling hunger head-on.
Feed My Starving Children, together with 3,600 volunteers, have reached their goal of packing a million meals for starving children.
They did it in just four days.
“What people are doing here is they're packing four main ingredients into individual meal packs which are specifically designed to help malnourished children,” said Vanessa Moran, FMSC Media Coordinator. “Those meals are then shipped back to the warehouse then they are distributed to about 70 countries all over the world wherever the need is the greatest.”
