WAUSHARA COUNTY (NBC 26) — The Waushara County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal house fire.
The Sheriff's Office said its 911 dispatch center received multiple calls of a structure fire at around 8:23 a.m. Wednesday. The fire was located at N1571 27th Ln, in the Town of Warren.
Multiple fire departments responded to the scene to assist the Redgranite Fire Department with extinguishing the fire.
While the Sheriff's Office called this a fatal fire, the office didn't release information on the deceased, saying it's waiting to notify family members.
The fire is currently under investigation by the Redgranite Fire Department, State of Wisconsin Fire Marshall’s Office, Waushara County Medical Examiner’s Office, and the Waushara County Sheriff’s Department.
