(NBC26) BLACK CREEK — Tuesday afternoon, around 1:45 p.m., the Outagamie County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Cty Tk A and STH 47 in the Town of Black Creek.
Authorities say that a van, being driven by a 19-year-old Black Creek man, was traveling on Cty Tk A. The van failed to yield the right-of-way to a box truck traveling on STH 47, which was being driven by a 40-year-old man.
It was at this point that the crash occurred and according to authorities the 19-year-old driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the box truck was treated on scene and released, and is cooperating with the investigation.
The highway was closed for approximately 3 ½ hours, and has since reopened.
The sheriffs office says that the incident remains under investigation
