SHEBOYGAN COUNTY (NBC 26) — One person has died after a crash that's diverting traffic in Sheboygan County, according to authorities.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office said at around 1:23 p.m. Wednesday, the Sheboygan County Emergency Communication Center received several 911 calls about a vehicle crash on I-43 northbound near DeWitt Road, in the Town of Holland.
Preliminary investigation revealed that a northbound vehicle left the travel lanes and struck the guardrail face. The driver was found dead, the sheriff's office said. No other vehicles were involved.
The sheriff's office said all northbound traffic on I-43 is being diverted off at State Highway 32 (Cedar Grove).
