GREEN BAY (WGBA) -- Nick Parins had just passed a bad case of Pneumonia, only to be told worse news about being diagnosed with Lymphoma.

Parins is a Green Bay native who is doing everything he can to fight the deadly disease. However, it has come to a point where he needs a bone marrow transplant.

"Essentially it was a cry for help," said Karyn St. Aubin, a relative.

His family did not turn out to be matches. Parins does not have any siblings. Now the family has turned to the public to hopefully find the right person.

"He didn't have a bone marrow match," St. Aubin said. "It was really important for us to reach out to the community and try to rally some support."

They teamed up with Be The Match, a group dedicated to finding donor matches all over the world. They have to talk to people at Sunday's Packer game about donating a saliva sample. That sample will get tested and could end up being the match the family needs.

"The goal is the help the family," said Jessica Klingberg from Be The Match. "The family desperately needs this to help save Nick."

The samples are free, but there is a registration process. They will be at D2 sports bar all day.
