OSHKOSH, Wis. (NBC 26) -- Many people may be looking for something fun to do with children that is also educational.
MToxins Venom Lab has been providing ethically collected venom out of its lab in downtown Oshkosh for the past nine years and just this June opened theJack R. Facente Serpentarium which is open to the public.
Guests can explore and learn all about the hundreds of fascinating venomous animals they have, but for a short time you can visit with Hogan the Joey. He is visiting from the Newport Zoo in Oregon.
Admission to the serpentarium is $10 for adults $8 for seniors and veterans and $5 for children.
There is an extra fee of $10 for up to four people to take part in an animal encounter.
The animal encounter with Hogan the Joey includes getting to pet and feed him while learning more facts about him from the kangaroo keeper.
Masks are encouraged, but not required and guests will find hand sanitizer upon their arrival and exit.
