ASHWAUBENON (NBC 26) — The new entertainment venue replacing Gordmans in Ashwaubenon has announced an opening date.
The EPIC Event Center announced Thursday that it will open to the public for its first concert on Thursday, April 15, with a performance by ‘Otherwise’. Supporting local acts will be Krestfall and Archaic Bloom.
The venue says in a press release it will open in a limited capacity as a way of preventing COVID spread. Groups of up to six people will be seated together in pods, which will be place six feet apart. EPIC Event Center says it will also perform temperature checks upon entry and ask that masks to be worn whenever outside of the assigned pod.
EPIC Event Center is a 2,100 capacity live entertainment venue. Initially, the venue says it will operate at approximately 25 percent of capacity.
The venue has released a schedule for the following shows:
April 15 – Otherwise w/ Krestfall and Archaic Bloom
May 7 – Murray the Magician, as seen on Pawn Stars and America’s Got Talent
May 8 – Badflower with Goodbye June (outdoor event at Capital Credit Union Park)
May 21 – Smith and Myers of Shinedown with JR Moore and Zach Mack
October 9 – The Glam Band, celebrating 15 years of Hairspray & Spandex
November 20 – Puddle of Mudd
Tickets for Smith and Myers go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, March 5. Murray the Magician, Badflower and Otherwise go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday, March 8. For more information, visit www.EPICgreenbay.com.
