People getting vaccinated at Lambeau Field also had an opportunity to explore new job opportunities Tuesday.
The Department of Workforce Development's Mobile Career Lab was set up at the stadium. It's designed to help people explore training opportunities and pursue new career pathways.
"We know lots of folks are coming in and out to get their vaccines, and it's a good time to interact with those individuals as well as with the employees here at the vaccination site. A lot of these individuals are temporary workers, and they might be looking now for a long-term career in healthcare, or in any other field," said Amy Pechacek, Secretary-Designee for the Dept. of Workforce Development.
The mobile career lab has 14 computers to help people looking for work. Learn more about the mobile lab here.
