GRAND CHUTE (NBC 26) -- The Donald Driver Charity Softball Game has been postponed. It was originally slated for July 26 at Neuroscience Group Field at Fox Cities Stadium.
Organizers announced the postponement Wednesday. They did not announce a new date for the event. Tickets purchased for the event will be valid for the to-be-determined rescheduled date, organizers say.
Fans who are unable to attend the new date and want a refund are asked to call the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers ticket office at 920-733-4152 during regular business hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Packers Hall of Famer Donald Driver hosts an annual charity softball game to raise funds toward the Donald Driver Foundation. The foundation's mission is to display Strong Hands, Strong Minds, and Loving Hearts to serve as a hand up, not a hand out.
Driver has previously said he has a passion for helping causes such as homelessness, education and cancer research.
In 2019, more than 5,500 tickets were sold for the charity softball game.
