Donald Driver Charity Game rescheduled for October; Green & Gold Game canceled

GRAND CHUTE (NBC 26) -- The Donald Driver Charity Softball which was originally set for July 26 has been rescheduled as a doubleheader in October, organizers announced Wednesday. The 20th Annual Green & Gold Charity Softball game has been canceled.

The Green & Gold game had been previously delayed due to COVID-19.

According to a published announcement on the Timber Rattlers website, the Donald Driver Charity Softball doubleheader will play on Sunday, October 11. The game will feature Donald Driver with "former Green Bay Packers Super Bowl Champions and Legends." The game will also feature "other athletes and celebrities."

Those who purchased tickets will be given multiple options to either attend one of the games, donate the money for the purchased tickets to local charities, or request a full refund.

Fans who purchased tickets to the 2020 Green & Gold Game have an additional option to roll over their tickets to the Green & Gold game slated for 2021. The announcement says fans will have until Tuesday, September 15 at 5 p.m. to respond.
