Bay Port will have a chance to defend its WIAA Division 1 state title next weekend.
The Pirates used a big second half to take down Kimberly 56-34 in Saturday's sectional final. They will begin their state tournament action on Friday night at the Resch Center.
Hortonville, Wrightstown and Mishicot have also qualified for the state tourney.
State tournament action begins on Thusday afternoon at the Resch Center in Ashwaubenon. All five championships will be played on Saturday.
