GREEN BAY (WGBA) --- Offensive lineman David Bakhtiari stopped by the New Community Shelter to donate soup and volunteer serving food to people in need.
Together he and his mom helped served hundreds who came through the doors during the shelter's dinner time. The event was part of Campbell’s Champions of Chunky campaign, which donated more than 10,000 bowls of Chunky soup to the shelter.
In addition, members of the Green Bay West High School football team helped serve food.
The Champions of Chunky campaign celebrates NFL stars and the Champions who support them on and off the field – as well as local community members and the people in their lives who have their backs every day.
