GREEN BAY (WGBA) -- It was a day dedicated to breaking down barriers and uniting cultures. Many came to the Union Church in Green Bay for a pot luck featuring food from all over the world.
"We probably had 20 different cultures represented here," said H James Smet, from the Migrant advocacy group.
Those who attended indulged in the food while also making conversation with each other. Many people of different races and backgrounds at together and learned about one another.
"This was about bringing people together," Smet said. "We have such a diverse group here in Green Bay. It was great to show it."
This is the 2nd time the group held an event like this. They plan to do one every two months.
