GREEN BAY, Wis. — The suspect in a deadly Green Bay stabbing case is now facing nine charges, including one count of first degree intentional homicide.
Wesley Brice is accused of stabbing two people back in March. One of the victims, a 70-year-old man, later died from his injuries.
Brice does not appear in an online jail registry at of Friday Afternoon.
According to a criminal complaint, police responded to a stabbing at RumRunners shortly after 7:30 PM on March 15. A car had smashed into a window, and a bartender was stabbed.
The complaint said that when officers arrived, there was a second victim inside a car. Officers described a "shocked look on his face." The victim later died from what officers described as multiple stabbing wounds.
According to the complaint, the suspect was at the back of the car shouting that he was the real God. When officers later brought Brice over to a squad car, the complaint said he was not making coherent sentences and was again saying "I am God." Officers said in the complaint that Brice appeared to be in some sort of excited mental state and didn't know what was going on.
The complaint described similar behavior during an interview of Brice. Officers described him as not very cooperative and said he began looking at the flood and said "floor, floor, floor, and floor."
Officers attempted to get Brice to the hospital. The complaint said, "at one point, Wesley began choking on his puke so officers stopped and pulled over to the side of the road to open the spit hood up so he would not choke."
Officers also describe Brice saying that he wanted officers to kill him and that he wanted to die.
