WISCONSIN (NBC 26) -- Help is available as the pandemic continues.
There’s a grant program through the state that’s meant to help Wisconsin small businesses. Grants of $5,000 are available. Applications can be sent in beginning October 19, with the money being paid out in early December.

As far as people trying to pay rent on their home, up $3,000 is available per person.
In general, there are income limits. For example, in Brown County, a family of four would have needed to make about $5,400 dollars or less last month to qualify for help this month. That equals a yearly family income of about $64,000.
Both programs are paid for with federal money.
